Pleached beech trees

A pleached form of the native beech, providing glossy green summer foliage and orange-gold autumn tones. Any well-drained soil except heavy clay. With increasing density of branch structure, the dry foliage will be retained through the winter in sheltered areas and can be quite ornamental in the winter sun. Shallow rooting.
